My son is 11month old. He has recently stopped having a bottle before bed. He is a nightmare to settle now. Even when he has a bath. Any ideas from anyone. I need some new ideas.

I still give my 15 month old a bottle of milk after her bath, it's just a routine I'm not willing to break, she seems to enjoy it....she's a greedy little sole Grin

Out of interest is there a reason for cutting out the bedtime bottle? Shouldn't they be having one?

Lol, typical male, I find it so hard when they change so quick. My little girl gets really really bad wind after her bottle sometimes and screams the house down for an hour or so till it's all gone, so maybe not such a bad thing he won't take it!!
 Undecided

The nursery Amy goes to recommended porridge before bed, I never did try it  Roll Eyes

Hi Fran,
finally found something that works. he know has a piece of toast before bed and goes to bed with water. he drops off easily. however he has to have the toast an hour before bed or he stays awake. he is happy with it and i get a few more hours to myself. happy all round.

change the milk that you are using, perhaps he does not like the one that you are giving him right now.

 hi there,

i saw your quote. but if your kid is having milk before the bed ,what's wrong in that, after all milk is a good source of energy for everyone.or you can smash the biscuits with milk and feed him up. this will also do well.

Thank you
Dilip

how much a baby dirty's a nappy unless it is green. I'd go to your dr just to confirm your baby is fine. Have you changed anything recently e.g types of formula, adding foods into diet etc
