I had a 'good' birth experience really I think Iwas lucky the gas and air just made me float on the ceiling during the delivery and it was over pretty quick; I got to the hospital at 2am and she was born by 3am and back home by 11am so you could say I hardley noticed lol

I think I would like a home birth too if we do decide to have more, I'm not sure if I'd have total confidence though..too many 'What if something goes wrong' type fears, but then you hear about babys being born in the back of taxis and all sorts!

We live in a village too, in Suffolk much better and safer for kids.. I say that having moved from London when I was 8 months pregnant, where abouts in the country are you?

Hi Laura,
CONGRATULATIONS Grin

thel onger you are pregnant the 'safer' you are, but most pregnancys go fine so I wouldn't start worrying unless you have any problems, and then ring your GP.

As far as I know it is the father's genes that dictate the sex however that doesn't mean you will definatle have a baby boy, you'll probably get to find out at your 20 week scn however this depends on the area you live in as sometimes they won't tell you (they wouldn't at mine but I did see it was a little baby girl!)

I've written some articles on the stages of pregnancy and have linked to them below. Good luck and let us know how you get on Kiss

What is happening to my body

Timeline 1st trimester

Timeline 2nd trimester

Timeline 3rd trimester
