What should I do about my boyfriend?

Hi , I'm twenty ... and had a few pregnancy scares... During those scares i told my boyfriend i thought there could be a chance i was pregnant due to my contraception failing... he instantly replied that he wanted me to have an abortion... this has happened twice. I dont know what i would do if i got a scare again... he makes out its not a big deal... but it is ... it was really insensitive of him... I really dont know if I should stay with him... I've been with him for 6 years now... lived with him for 2 years... and I honestly wouldnt know what to say or do if I got another scare... i think i know he'd tell me to have another abortion...but I wonder if he would last time i was really annoyed... do you think its worth staying with this guy or not?? thanks for any posts people give .

Hi there,
Also in passing read your post, I am a guy and from our side of things heres my point of view..
Why would you consider leaving a guy u have been with for 6 yrs just because he doesnt want a child ??
You call it a scare, so obviously its not somthing u want either...
Abortion is a means to an end, nothin more.
Maybe you should be happy with what you have.
Cheers for listening
Fox.
p.s
if its a huge deal use a better method of contreception.

he is not your husband for you to expect him to take the responsibility of the baby.......
he is free like you....you should not expect anything from him. i would advice you to take more precaution.

if you want children and he doesn't, better to break it off and start afresh with someone else now before you get pregnant and he leaves leaving you to be a single Mum.
Kids are hard work, twice as hard on your own...

Granted that not everyone wants to be a parent, or is ready to be, you should never force someone or pressure someone to abort their unborn child. it is the mothers decision, no one elses. If you got pregnant would you keep your baby? if your answers yes then i dont think he is the guy you should be with.

The Advise my dad gave me about boyfriends
1. Always pay for yourself so that He realise you don't need him for anything so you could prove you could take care of yourself
2.If he tells you not to wear something or a certain dress you wear it double
3.You never phone him If he is interested he will do all the chasing so Let him to phone you
Take my advise it works

Yeah, that was a great advice from your dad. Anyway, abortion is not a good way in that situation, believe me or not but it only makes your situation more complicated. It was your responsibility to give birth in that child, many couples are wishing to have a baby but they can't. Actually, you can avoid this problem if you will only know your priorities.
