How do you get your children to understand when it's time to get up? SIMPLE "stay in bed until you see the sun!" The Gro-clock uses fun images of the moon and sun to communicate when to go back to sleep and when it's time to get up.
The Gro-clock comes with a beautifully illustrated book which helps to encourage children to stay in bed longer, which means more sleep for them and more sleep for you! "No more getting up at 5am!"
Just some of the comments from parents that are Gro-clock users.
As the owner of a terrible sleeper, the gro-clock as proved a god send. Our lad is 27 months and only started to sleep through at 24 months! Prior to that he'd be up from 4-5am most days. Even with his sleeping through he'd still tend to be up at around 6. We've set the gro-clock to 06:20, and whilst it doesn't stop him waking up, he is happy for me to talk over the monitor and get him to wait until he sees the sun. We are about to start the process of altering the time to draw him out by another 15 minutes (a couple of minutes at a time).

The clock is fab thanks. The set up was easy. My son loves reading the story and he has to press the button every night for the sun to go to sleep. He does wait for the sun in the morning before shouting for us. I have recommended it to others. The other good thing was that this weekend we moved the time to little later for the sun to come up than in the week so we could have a sleep in and it worked!!! Let me know if you want me to try any of your other products, i am a fan!

So far I think the gro-clock is brilliant, Hannah is not quite 2 yet so is not using it to it's full potential, however I think it's far better than others on the market as it seems so simple for her to understand, it's not fussy like the other ones I've seen. I also like the idea that I can set it for her daytime nap!! I think you have pretty much covered everything in it's design and no problems with it yet.
Sincerely Laura, Steve and Hannah Pitcher P.S. I forgot to mention that both Hannah and I loved the book that came with the clock too!!!!
Thank you for your brilliant mind and the fabulous gro-clock. Mollie (aged four) stays in bed till the 'good morning sunshine'; and has even told us that she has woken up 'with only one star so I knew the blue moon would soon tell me it was nearly good morning and then all I have to do is wait for the good morning sunshine' (so she has quickly grasped the process!). She stayed in bed from the first morning, and we set the clock an hour after her usual wake up time (set for 7am and she would be up for 6am at the latest). She is much less confused about when it is time to get up (dratted BST and the dawn chorus always threw her) as it was never as simple as 'its bed time when its dark and up time when its light'. Once again thank you. Vikki
